In this week’s interview you can hear Lieutenant Colonel Ben Tottenham discuss his experiences of the Second World War and his service in the Sharp shooters. Lieutenant Colonel Tottenham served with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards from 1943 to 1947 and with the Sharp Shooters from 1954 to 1965.

In this week's interview you can hear Mr Steward Osborn's account of his World War Two experiences from first joining the regiment through D-Day and up his demobilisation in 1946. Mr Osborn served with the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards from 1942 to 1946.

In this episode you can hear Mr Cecil Newton's detailed account of the preparation and training for the Normandy landings, including the role of amphibious tanks. He went on to write a book, A Soldier's Tale, which describes his wartime experiences. Mr Newton served with the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards from 1942 to 1945.

In this week’s interview you can hear Mr Henry Garrood discuss the build up to D day, and his wartime experiences including the liberation of a prisoner of war camp and relieving the boxer Max Schmeling of some cognac. Mr Garrood served with the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards from 1942 to 1949.
