In this week’s interview you can hear Major General Henry Woods talk about deployment to Normandy, his experiences during the Second World War, including injury, and how the war ended on his 21st birthday. He goes on to describe his service in Korea, Aden and Benghazi. Major General Woods served with the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards from 1943 to 1967.
